Ven. Mother Mary Crucified, ora pro nobis!

Remembering our cofoundress - and our Madre Presidente!

Today is the 238th anniversary of Ven. Mother Mary Crucified’s passing into eternal life. We thank God for the witness of our Cofoundress, who was the first to embody St. Paul of the Cross’ dream of the Passionist cloistered vocation. May she intercede for us, and may the Lord soon grant that she be raised to the honors of the altar!

Fittingly enough, today also happens to be the memorial of St. Gertrude, which means that it’s the feast day of our Madre Presidente Gertrude Poggio, CP! Please join us in prayer for Mother Gertrude, asking the Lord to bless and sustain her in her challenging and important work for the Congregation. May the prayers of our Holy Founder and Cofoundress be her strength and consolation!
