A Closer Look at Our New Kitchen!
As we approach Thanksgiving Day, we have many reasons to bless the Lord for all His benefits to us throughout the year. One of our biggest motives for gratitude this year is, of course, the completion of our Cherish the Flame project! We will be enjoying our Thanksgiving dinner in the new Holy Family Wing, giving thanks to the good Lord, good St. Joseph, and all his “helpers” - each and every one of you - who have made possible these much-needed (and beautiful!) improvements to our monastic home.
The last big hurdle to clear, you may remember, was the kitchen renovation - and if you ask our Kitchen Sister, she’ll tell you they saved the best for last! It has been a real joy to prepare our Thanksgiving feast in such a functional yet beautiful kitchen, which Sister (only half-jokingly) refers to as her “playground!”
