America the Beautiful
God has bestowed many blessings on our nation, and today we wanted to highlight just one of those: the great natural beauty that surrounds us at every turn!
Being cloistered nuns, we don’t normally have the opportunity to marvel at such wonders as the Rocky Mountains, the Great Lakes, the East Coast autumn foliage, or the sparkling Pacific Ocean. But that doesn’t stop us from seeing and rejoicing in the glory of creation! In fact, the geographical limitation inherent in our vocation inspires us to look more deeply at the treasures that lie within our grasp, and to praise God with joy for “all creatures great and small.”
