A Paulacrucian Triduum
October 18-20 each year presents us with a sort of “Paulacrucian Triduum” (Paulacrucian = of or having to do with St. Paul of the Cross!):
October 18th - The anniversary of our Holy Founder’s transitus - his death and passage into glory
October 19th - The Solemnity of St. Paul of the Cross for Passionists worldwide
October 20th - The Solemnity of St. Paul of the Cross for Passionists in North America
As we spend these days in thanksgiving to God for the gift of our Holy Founder, we encourage you to get to know him (better, or for the first time) by:
Reading some of his letters (you can find a full online database of them here!)
Praying the Passionist Proper Offices for his feast
Checking out some of the many resources on our website (scroll down to the “E-books” section)
May St. Paul of the Cross intercede for all his spiritual children - vowed and lay Passionists who carry on his mission of preaching the “greatest and most stupendous work of Divine Love” to a world ever forgetful of the sufferings of Christ!
