Fr. David Colhour, CP, incenses the Blessed Sacrament during 40 Hours
From June 23-25, we held our customary 40 Hour devotions beginning with Holy Mass on the great Solemnity of Corpus Christi. It was a blessing to have our brother in the Passion, Fr. David Colhour, CP, present with us for these three days of intense prayer and adoration of the Eucharistic Lord. Fr. David led our Eucharistic procession on Sunday night and preached at each evening service during 40 Hours. He gave us much to ponder on the Eucharist as both saving sacrifice and spiritual nourishment, and on the ways we can offer ourselves to the Father in union with Christ.
40 Hours was beautifully and reverently celebrated thanks in large part to the care of Sr. Frances Marie - we thank her for her marvelous job preparing for her first big feast as Sacristan!
