Scenes from the Life of St. Gabriel Possenti

It was Theresa in the parlor with a letter opener…

No, this is not the beginning of a monastic game of Clue, but it is a moment from a recent skit! St. Gabriel of Our Lady of Sorrows (Possenti) is patron of our novitiate, and in honor of his feast day the novitiate members and some of the younger nuns treated us to a skit based on his life. Postulant Theresa had the starring role as Gabriel, while aspirant Kathryn donned a biretta to play Fr. Norbert, the novice master, and Sr. Cecilia Maria, Sr. Frances Marie, Sr. Maria Faustina, and Isabel (a young woman from Germany who spent a month with us to learn about Passionist life), filled out the cast in supporting roles.

On this first day of March, the glorious Solemn Commemoration of the Passion, which also happens to be the birthday of St. Gabriel, we invite you to gear up your imagination and your funny bone and join us in remembering one of our beloved Passionist saints.

TODAY, it is our privilege to bring you CLASSICALLY TRAINED actors from as far away as GERMANY,

As we present:
