1 Diamond Jubilee — 5 Ways to Celebrate!
The original Monarch estate which served as our first monastery in Owensboro.
In 1946, five Passionist Nuns from the monastery in Scranton, PA, established a new monastery in the diocese of Owensboro, KY. In 2021, our community rejoices to celebrate the 75th anniversary of our foundation. When we started planning celebrations two years ago, we never dreamed that we would still be in the midst of a global pandemic which would limit the size and scope of our plans… but we are determined to celebrate with you anyhow! Instead of just one big jubilee liturgy, now you have five liturgies to choose from! We hope you’ll join us in our chapel for one of them, to celebrate with us and pray for the next 75 years.
