Spring 2020 Newsletter: Good News in the Midst of the Storm!

This Lent has certainly been one for the record books, as all over the world the Catholic faithful are hunkered down at home or battling the coronavirus on the front lines. As we head into Holy Week, we decided to go ahead and publish our spring newsletter — written before the pandemic was declared! — to bring you tidings of the many good, happy, and exciting things that are still going on here at the monastery. Most of all, we want to remind you that your cloistered Passionist sisters are always here, praying and sacrificing for you, lifting up our worship on your behalf… especially during these days of “social distancing.” The physical newsletter is arriving in mailboxes around the country, and now you can read it online!

  • Sr. Miriam Esther’s vestition

  • Mother Catherine Marie visiting our monasteries in Indonesia

  • the Passionist Jubilee Icon

  • vocation visitors and remembrances of Sisters who have gone before us

  • and a very exciting new project!

Yes, you do have to go read it to find out what the project is. We hope you enjoy!
