O Mary, Mother of God, you reign in splendor for all eternity with your Divine Son, Jesus. You reign on a throne of tenderness, mercy and pardon. All your trials and sufferings are now transformed into glory. In God, there are no disappointments, no false promises. Eternity is real. Heaven is an eternal joy which eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor has it entered into the human heart what God has prepared for those who love Him and are faithful to Him in the testings of life. Your Assumption is a sign of hope for us who still walk our pilgrim way on earth. You who are the Queen of Martyrs, the Mother of Sorrows, are now crowned with everlasting joy because you suffered with Christ on earth. Help us the use well the sufferings that come our way, and to keep our eyes on our eternal inheritance.
O Mary, assumed into heaven, pray for us who have recourse to thee!
