We are contemplative women who accept a special place in God's plan of Redemption!

We witness to
timeless
values and to the primacy of God amid the breathtaking pace and
noise of the changing world.
We fulfill our
Passionist commitment through a traditional monastic life of prayer, work,
penance and community, as well as by sharing with others the fruits of our
contemplative prayer.
This special sharing with others is greatly facilitated by our hosting solitude, directed or preached retreats in our Retreat House.
We are Cloistered Contemplative Nuns dedicated to the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ through a universal ministry of prayer.
Founded in Italy in
1771 by St. Paul of the Cross, about 50 years after his founding of the Passionist priests and brothers.
We arrived and began our monastic life in the United States in 1910.
St. Paul of the Cross
All Christians are called to
prayer. Jesus said in the Gospel: "Pray always and never
lose heart." But the fact remains that from the earliest
ages of the Church, some of Christ's followers have been called
by the Holy Spirit to dedicate their entire lifestyle to this
common Christian Call to unceasing prayer These
are the monastic orders of the Church, and Passionist Nuns are
heirs of this rich tradition.
